Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Frelo, obrt za usluge, vl. Berislav Paradžik, OIB 19176639445, [ADDRESS not set] ("we", "us"), who runs ClipMill at clipmill.app. By creating an account or using ClipMill you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
ClipMill is a web app for chess content creators. You upload a recording of your stream. We transcribe it, use AI to pick highlights, fix captions and write titles, descriptions and tags, render vertical Shorts, and generate a thumbnail. If you connect your YouTube channel, you can publish the Shorts or the full stream to your own channel, now or at a time you choose. We may improve, change or remove features over time.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter a binding contract.
- Give accurate information and keep your login details secret. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
- Tell us straight away at [EMAIL not set] if you think someone else has used your account.
3. YouTube
- ClipMill uses the YouTube API Services. By using ClipMill's YouTube features you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
- Videos are uploaded only to the YouTube channel you connect, and only when you click Publish or set a publishing time. You choose the title, description, privacy setting (public, unlisted or private) and schedule of each video before it is uploaded.
- You are responsible for making sure what you publish complies with the YouTube Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, including the "made for kids" designation of your videos.
- You can disconnect your channel in the app at any time, or revoke access at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
- ClipMill is not made, endorsed or sponsored by YouTube or Google.
4. Your content
- You keep all rights in the recordings, photos and other material you upload, and in the outputs we make from them.
- You may only upload content that you own or have all the rights and permissions needed for, including the right to let us process it as described here and to publish it on YouTube. This covers the stream itself, music, game footage, overlays, and the voices, faces and names of any other people in it.
- You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, copy, process and transmit your content only to provide the service to you: to transcribe it, analyse it with our AI providers, render Shorts and thumbnails, and upload it to YouTube when you ask. This licence ends when your content is deleted from our servers.
- Storage and deletion of your content are described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use ClipMill to:
- upload or publish content that infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
- upload content that is illegal, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, violent, or that sexualises or endangers minors;
- publish spam, misleading metadata, or content that violates the YouTube Terms of Service or Community Guidelines;
- upload to a YouTube channel you are not authorised to manage;
- attack, overload, probe or reverse engineer the service, get around its limits, or access other users' data;
- resell or share your account, or use the service to build a competing product.
We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules.
6. AI-generated output
- ClipMill uses AI to choose highlights, correct captions, write titles, descriptions and tags, check the quality of Shorts, and generate thumbnails. AI can make mistakes: captions can be wrong, highlights can miss the point, and texts or images can be inaccurate or similar to existing material.
- Review every output before you publish it. You decide what is published, and you are responsible for it.
- We do not guarantee views, growth, revenue, or that YouTube will accept or recommend any video.
7. Subscriptions and payments
- Paid plans are sold through our merchant of record, Creem (creem.io). Creem is the seller of record: it processes your payment, issues invoices and charges any applicable taxes. Its terms apply to the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; the plan then stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Creem according to its refund policy. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under mandatory consumer protection law.
- We may change prices for future periods. We will tell you at least 30 days before a price change applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
- Plan limits (for example the number of videos or minutes per month) are shown on the pricing page.
8. Availability
We work to keep ClipMill available and your files safe, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available". It may sometimes be unavailable, for example for maintenance, or because a provider such as YouTube, Anthropic or Kie.ai is unavailable or changes its service. YouTube may also apply its own limits to uploads. Keep your own copy of your recordings.
9. Limitation of liability
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or damage to your reputation or channel.
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period, or EUR 50 if you paid nothing.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for intent or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your rights as a consumer.
10. Your responsibility to us
If you break these terms or infringe someone's rights through content you upload or publish, and we receive a claim because of it, you will cover our reasonable costs of dealing with that claim, to the extent the law allows.
11. Ending the agreement
- You can stop using ClipMill and close your account at any time by emailing [EMAIL not set]. Cancel your subscription separately if you have one.
- We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering the service. Where reasonable we will warn you first, and if we stop the service we will give you at least 30 days' notice so you can download your files.
- When your account is closed, we revoke your YouTube access token and delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Videos already published to YouTube stay on YouTube.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters to you, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it applies. If you do not agree, you can close your account before then. The date at the top shows the latest version.
13. Governing law and disputes
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of that country.
- Courts in Croatia have jurisdiction, but as a consumer you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
- Please contact us first at [EMAIL not set], so we can try to solve the problem together.
